The Icelandic musical collective Mum are set to release a single from their “Go Go Smear The Poison Ivy” album. Entitled “Marmalade Fires” it will be available both as a digital download and on limited edition 7” from December 17th.
The single, released on Fat Cat Records, will be accompanied by their first UK tour in three years. Mum are fresh from having played a successful homecoming show at Iceland’s airwaves festival, and are renowned for endowing experimental music with pop qualities. The collective has grown to seven members, and represent a ferocious live beast blending live instruments with programmed beats and samples.
