MULAY’s ‘TWTC’ Is Blessed With Intimate Insight

"It’s the showdown for my inner confrontation..."

Berlin based MULAY returns with new single ‘TWTC’.

The songwriter’s debut EP ‘ANTRACYTE’ made its mark last year, matching soulful inquisitions with deft electronic production. Continuing to surge into new spaces, she’s prepping a new project, with her ‘IVORY’ EP set to land on October 7th via Groenland Records.

MULAY is a full package, an artist who works in 360; a fashion-forward talent, she combines music and visuals to forge something impactful. She comments:

Music and visuals are two different parts of one whole. When I write a song, I usually already have the visual in my head. You can use visuals to add different layers of meaning to what you’re trying to express and communicate the multidimensionality of emotions on that level as well, by including more than one dimension. To me it’s all connected.”

New song ‘TWTC’ leads the way, and it’s an immaculate return. From the press shot to the final video it feels like a complete artistic gesture, fusing neo-soul elements within icy cool electronics. Mulay explains…

“It’s the showdown for my inner confrontation. It’s about calling yourself out and accepting responsibility; and by nailing down those feelings, by facing and naming them, you reclaim the power they have over you.”

Tune in now.
