The MTV New Music Tour is set to kick off, and looks to be the best yet combining established acts such as The Futureheads and The Zutons with up-and-coming talent such as The Ting Tings and Alphabeat.
Previous tours have helped to launch the careers of such stars as Bloc Party, Kasabian and The Kooks. The MTV tour is a wonderful opportunity for bands to promote themselves, and also for fans to see a genuinely stellar bill.
