The MTV EMAs returned last night (November 10th) and brought with them performances from Eminem, Miley Cyrus and more.
Developing a global reach, the MTV EMAs returned last night (November 10th) amidst much glitz, glamour and speculation. Hosted by the Dutch city of Amsterdam, the event featured some guest presenting from 'Anchorman' character Ron Burgundy.
A constant presence, Ron Burgundy went for a tandem bicycle ride with Daft Punk and interviewed Eminem… sparking a barbed comment about Afrojack from the Detroit MC.
Winners included Bruno Mars, who won 'Best Song' for 'Locked Out Of Heaven'. Elsewhere, Katy Perry picked up 'Best Female' while Eminem scooped 'Best Hip Hop' and an award for global icon.
30 Seconds To Mars won 'Best Alternative' but perhaps the night's biggest talking point was the performance from Miley Cyrus. Typically bizarre, she paid tribute to 2Pac and Biggie before performing with a dwarf – oh, and she appeared to smoke a joint onstage…
