Motorcycle Display Team Soar On New Ballad ‘To The Endless’

A lilting six-minute return...

DIY stalwarts Motorcycle Display Team return with new single ‘To The Endless’.

The devoutly independent band have dug deep, reinforcing their principles at every turn. Committed to classic songwriting, Motorcycle Display Team have found a way to cut through – and it seems people are paying attention.

Named Unsigned Band of the Month by Absolute Radio, Motorcycle Display Team have gained high profile syncs in some huge TV shows, including Hollyoaks, BBC’s Off The Hook, and Thandie Newton TV drama Rogue.

New single ‘To The Endless’ leads into their upcoming EP, with sessions taking place at Lightship 95, on the Thames opposite the O2, alongside Dave Holmes.

A soaring six-minute ballad, the subtle approach taken by the band on ‘To The Endless’ is reminiscent of late 90s Manic Street Preachers, or even the literate work of The Divine Comedy.

Curiously catchy for all its length, ‘To The Endless’ is an understated but impressive return from the cult band. Motorcycle Display Team comment:

“We wanted to take two tales of ordinary broken people and tell them with grace and humility. And Nick Squires’ delicate string arrangements, along with the layers of piano and backing vocals, lend these tawdry stories of the everyday human experience a tender grandeur.”

Tune in now.
