In one deft move Moss Kena set the internet alight.

Recording his own version of Kendrick Lamar's 'These Walls', his soulful, highly personal rendition scorched a path across the web.

A chance meeting with Kendrick saw the Compton rapper give the performance his blessing, further bolstering Moss' blossoming profile.

But he wasn't about to get carried away. Still only 20 years old he feels he's got a lot to prove, with debut EP 'Found You In '06' arriving back in March.

Lead song 'Problems' has now been re-worked, with Moss Kena heading into the studio with trail-blazing R&B outfit THEY. and soaring rap talent Rapsody.

Together they've produced something really special. It's a funkier vibe, with THEY. and Rapsody adding a different kind of energy to the mix.

THEY. commented recently that "when we heard problems we immediately loved the 90’s vibe. Glad to be a part of such a dope yet meaningful song."

Rapsody added: "I love Moss’ voice and Problems is a really dope record. So, I was happy to be a part of the rework and add my flavour to it."

As always, the final word goes to Moss Kena himself: "I feel like there’s a bunch of young people who are ready to be part of a movement again, to have a culture that we can call our own. We are ready for a Bowie, a Punk rock, a music that captures the feeling of our moment in time. There is so much to react against and so much to stand up for. We can all see what the youth stand for, our points of view, but I feel like nobody has been the emblem of that. I hope that it’s me."

Who directed the video for 'Problems'? Did it capture the feelings you were going for in the song well?
The video was directed by Ruby and Boya, two young emerging UK directors that I was excited to be able to work with. From my perspective they perfectly captured the mood and feeling of the song, its a universal message and I think the video reflects this.

The video is for the rework with THEY. and Rapsody. Were you happy to work with them on the new version?
Both THEY. and Rapsody are incredibly talented and unique. They are to me, an integral part of the current and future music scene. It was a pleasure to creatively connect with them on the record.

Your amazing voice has attracted attention, for its androgynous vibe and how good it is. Who are your vocal heroes?
I’ve always been drawn to distinctive, soulful voices. The first voice I ever heard that stopped me in my tracks was Elvis Presley and since then I’ve been addicted to iconic voices such as Prince, Amy Winehouse and Donny Hathaway to name a few.
