Apologies all round, by both promoter and singer, as the three shows postponed by Morrissey during his Roundhouse residency have been officially abandoned.
Sadly the sore throat that originally put paid to the London gigs has proved to be a bigger obstacle than first thought – Morrissey and the venue have been unable to reschedule the shows as first thought.
Ticket holders for the Friday show have been automatically refunded to credit / debit cards. Those who purchased tickets for the Saturday / Sunday shows have been advised to return their tickets to the point of purchase. Season ticket holders will receive a 50% refund to reflect the missing shows.
In better news for Morrissey fans, the Manc minstrel releases his new single – “That’s How People Grow Up” – is officially released today (February 4th). His “Greatest Hits” collection follows on February 11th.
