Morrissey Cancels Album

Release Date Pushed Back

Former Smith and current King of controversy Morrissey has revealed that his latest album “Years of Refusal” will not now be available until 2009.

The singer has been wrapped up in a number of lawsuits with the music media after reports suggested he was racist. As well as this, the singer has been busy touring and writing new material, the result of which was scheduled to be released this year.

However, in an interview with US magazine Billboard the minstrel of melancholy revealed that the new album won’t now be available until early next year. Long time writing partner and guitarist Boz Boorer however, is set to release his new rockabilly inspired effort in October.

“Years Of Refusal” by Morrissey will now be released in 2009.
