Morgan Hislop Launches New Album ‘Ghostin Me’

It's out on July 15th...

Morgan Hislop will release new album 'Ghostin' Me' on July 15th.

A true multi-hyphenate, Morgan Hislop's design work will be familiar to anyone who is a fan of, say, Sega Bodega and India Jordan, UNIIQU3 and AJ Tracey.

Alongside this, he's also a producer, building a shadow career that blends a deep love of club culture with a thirst for future-facing sounds.

New album 'Ghostin' Me' is out on July 15th, released through London based tastemaker imprint July 15th.

New song 'Apricity' is online now, and it affords Morgan space to blend his distinctive neon-tinted production with assistance from jules.

Morgan comments…

“With 'Apricity' I wanted to challenge myself to maintain those trademark sounds I hear in my music – sparkling chopped vocals, saccharine melodies – but strip it back to it’s bare bones using analogue equipment to add a little grit. jules’s vocals had this fragility and ghostliness that juxtaposed well to the bouncing arpeggiated synth. It’s a big experiment ultimately, but I still feel like it’s noticeably one of mine – and it makes so much sense in the context of the LP.”

Tune in now.
