Peter Moren, one third of Swedish popsters Peter, Bjorn and John, has announced plans for a new solo LP.
Following an incredible two years with Peter, Bjorn and John, which have seen the group move from producing home-made albums into genuine chart success across the globe. Their signature tune “Young Folks” is perhaps the most whistled indie pop tune in years.
Peter Moren will leave his compadres behind to produce an album of honest songwriting, with influences said to include Cat Stevens and James Taylor. Titled “The Last Tycoon”, the album will be released through Wichita Recordings and will be available from May 5th.
