More Details Of Charge Against Unknown T Emerge

More details of the charge against East London rapper Unknown T have emerged.

The UK rap talent soared in 2018, releasing his anthem 'Homerton B' and playing a string of live shows.

Unknown T played a Clash Live event at Ace Hotel in London, and we spoke to him for our Next Wave section.

Yesterday – July 16th – Unknown T was arrested by police in London and charged with murder following an incident at a North London party in 2018.

Now police have given a statement to theFader which reveals a few more details.

The rapper – real name Daniel Lena – was charged alongside two other men, 20-year-old Ramani Boreland and 20-year-old Mohammed Musse.

The three men have been charged with the murder of 20-year-old Steven Narvaez-Jara, with formal charges being made on July 6th.

The statement reads: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) on New Year’s Day, Monday, 1 January at around 02:35 hours to an address, a flat in Bartholomew Court, EC1. [Narvaez-Jara], from Belvedere Kent, was found suffering from stab injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another 20-year-old man at the scene who was also found with stab injuries was taken to hospital and subsequently recovered."

Unknown T's team have made no comment.
