South London outfit Monzanto Sound rope in rapper Natty Wylah for a redux of their single ‘The Fool’, lifted from forthcoming remix EP ‘TT&T Remixed’.
Titled ‘Tricksters’, the reconfigured tune blends Wylah’s languid narratorial voice with a UK steppas edge; dubbier, pacier and more propulsive than the original.
Last year Monzanto Sound released their EP ‘Tomorrow, Tomorrow and Tomorrow’, a deft fusion of diasporic jazz, funk and electronic textures, with lead singer Mimi Koku delivering nocturnal notes on social conditioning.
