When Mogwai first formed, the idea of a post-rock group from Glasgow achieving any kind of success was, to be fair, rather outlandish.
20 years on, the band have proved the doubters all wrong with Mogwai able to take their music across the globe. Opening their 20th anniversary celebrations at the Roundhouse tonight (June 23rd) the band have also outlined plans for a new compilation.
'Central Belters' is a 3-CD / 6-LP extravaganza, telling the full story of Mogwai from their inception to last year's Top 10 album 'Rave Tapes'.
