Moderat have been forced to cancel all upcoming shows following Sascha Ring's hospitalisation.

Moderat are so much more than a side project. Uniting Modeselektor with Apparat, the trio form a mighty proposition with recent album 'II' fusing bass textures, demented techno drum settings and much more to forge a furious, bastardised sound.

Announcing a string of live shows, the three piece had intended to take their sound across the globe. However Apparat (Sascha Ring) has tragically suffered a motorcycle accident, and will not now be able to take part.

Unable to operate without him, Moderat have taken the joint decision to cancel all upcoming shows. A statement from Sascha Ring reads:

I'm sorry,
after a motorcycle accident last Saturday i will have to cancel all Moderat shows. Considering the circumstances my girlfriend and i are ok but it'll take me a few months to learn how to walk again.
