Mock Media Confirm Debut Album ‘Mock Media II’

Latest single ‘Madness’ is out today…

Mock Media have announced their debut album will be released on November 17th.

Crack Cloud’s Garnet Aronyk, N0V3L’s Bennett Smith, Pottery’s Austin Boylan and Painted Fruits’ Evan Aesen joined forces as a supergroup to share their debut single ‘Modern Visions’ earlier this month.

Their follow up single, ‘Madness’, arrived today alongside the announcement of the band’s debut LP ‘Mock Media II’, which is set for release on November 17th via Meat Machine.

The record traverses the length and breadth of human suffering and persistence, including the life of an Olympian turned fighter pilot turned prisoner of war, all framed by an eclectic arrangement of punk, folk, pop and electronic influences.

Discussing ‘Madness’, a track which sets off down the road of sharp-edged punk before eventually wandering into country rock territory, Evan said…

“It’s just looking at human history, because it’s been so terrible in a lot of ways. How civilized we normally are, it just takes the drop of a coin and it can turn into something real bad. And we’re always kind of teetering on the edge of that. People in their own lives too: you can hit rock bottom pretty quickly, but you can also persevere.”

Tune in now.
