Moby Launches Video Competition

Online Search For New Film Maker

Moby has launched a massive online video competition to create a promo for his new single “Ooh Yeah”, it has been revealed.

A film student at college himself, Moby has set up a new website to uncover new talent in film making. The new site, mobygratis.com, will run the new competition which has a $10,000 prize. Directors are invited to register with the site, and upload their entries. The winners, chosen by Moby himself, will receive the money and the honour of their promo being used as the official video for the single.

“Ooh Yeah” is taken form Moby’s new album “Last Night” which was hailed by critics as a return to form. While criticized by many for licensing every track from his “Play” album, Moby remains an important dance artist whose eclectic tastes mean his work is continually changing.

A release date for “Ooh Yeah” has not been set. The next single from “Last Night” will be “I Love To Move In Here” which features the talents of Grandmaster Caz and is available from June 30th.

Moby is set to appear at the Global Gathering on July 25th.
