Mo Gilligan Returns To Host BRIT Awards 2023

After his successful stint last year...

Mo Gilligan will return to host this year’s BRIT Awards.

The comedian stepped up last year, hosting the annual awards ceremony. The biggest night in British music, Mo Gilligan injected some energy and nonchalance into proceedings, resulting in more than a few viral moments.

With memories of his Gallagher impersonation still resounding, Mo Gilligan has confirmed he will return as host for this year’s edition of the BRIT Awards. Taking place on February 11th at London’s The O2 Arena, nominations for the BRIT Awards will be confirmed on all official BRITs channels via an exclusive live stream from 4pm on Thursday (January 12th); the live-stream will be hosted by Vick Hope.

Looking ahead to the ceremony itself, Mo Gilligan commented…

Hosting the BRITs last year was one of the most phenomenal moments of my life. I’ve been so honoured to get to know the incredible team behind the biggest night in music and so proud to bring our amazing audiences even closer to their favourite artists. I promise you, we’re going to go even bigger this year… Let’s go!”

2023 BRIT Awards Chair Damian Christian added: “Making sure we got Mo back to host this year’s awards was a huge priority for us. He is one of the biggest names in UK entertainment right now and he did an amazing job hosting his first BRITs last year. We’re looking forward to working with him and watching as he brings his unique humour and style to our stage and screens once again.”

BRIT Awards 2023 takes place on February 11th at London’s The O2 Arena.
