Miss Tiny Share Curious New Song ‘The Beggar’

Debut EP 'DEN7' is out this summer...

Miss Tiny have shared curious, insistent new track ‘The Beggar’.

The project is helmed by producer / guitarist Dan Carey and vocalist / drummer Benjamin Romans-Hopcraft (Childhood, Warmduscher), making its debut at the Brixton Windmill last year. Debut EP ‘DEN7’ lands on July 21st, the latest piece of creativity from the Speedy Underground stable.

‘The Beggar’ has this ever-evolving feel, the rhythmic complexity pointing to math-rock aspects, almost. At heart, though, it’s a pop song, with its array of hooks and melodic about-turns transposing those ear-worm aspects into something alien, yet also inviting.

Continually offering the unexpected, ‘The Beggar’ seems to highlight the fantastic creativity at work in Miss Tiny. The pair comment…

“‘The Beggar’ seeks to address how relationships can sometimes slip into a struggle for some form of power over a shared situation. What usually happens feels like a futile war for vindication, and usually ends up with both parties being equally as weak as the other.”
