South London's own Milk Disco have shared new track 'Weekender' – tune in now.
It begins with muttered lyrics, a piece of music so subtle it almost becomes submerged in the everyday.
Gradually, though, the beat becomes clear; that solid, precise pulse, while the vocal increases in intensity, until it eventually rips itself apart.
'Weekender' is a tale is seeing through the mundane, rejecting the everyday, tapping into the seething rage of unsatisfaction that lurks under the everyday.
Milk Disco explain: "'Weekender' is about joining in with people at the end of the working week and feeling unhappy with your life. Getting caught in those typical motions of reality, doing nothing about it and being consumed by the banality of your choices."
