Miley Cyrus has walked back her recent comments on female sexuality.
The singer hit up Instagram Live to discuss her love life, and praised new boyfriend Cody Simpson.
“There are good men out there, guys, don’t give up,” she said. “You don’t have to be gay, there are good people with dicks out there, you’ve just got to find them.”
Miley added: “You’ve got to find a dick that’s not a dick, you know? I always thought I had to be gay, because I thought all guys were evil, but it’s not true.”
“There are good people out there that just happen to have dicks. I’ve only ever met one, and he’s on this live.”
The comments sparked a ruckus online, with Miley appearing to imply that homosexuality was a choice, and that if women could only find a "dick that's not a dick" then they would choose to be straight.
Posting a further message on Twitter, Miley Cyrus walked these comments back a little, stating: "You are born as you are…"
Reiterating her support for the LGBTQ community, she wrote:
