Long a phenomenon in his native United States, Miguel broke through on a global scale with 2012's 'Kaleidoscope Dream'.
A glittering affair, the album contained a number of collaborations including a show-stopping turn from Kendrick Lamar on 'How Many Drinks?'.
Now sessions are under way on a potential follow up. Chatting to The Hollywood Reporter, Miguel revealed that he recently entered the studio with Brixton artist Jessie Ware.
"It was a little daunting because I wasn't sure how rusty I'd be," Miguel says. "I'd been collecting ideas and writing down concepts and phrases and all those things you hoard as you're moving along, and that very first day in the first hour, we had something special. I think my spirit was ready to go and ride the wave, so to speak. I've been so focused on performing and making sure that what we do live is connecting. So now I'm just happy to be in a place where I can have solitude and just create freely."
Making up a wish list of collaborators, Miguel has named Kanye West, Mos Def, and Jack White as people he would love to work with.
One more time… here's 'Adorn'.
