Rolling Stones icon Mick Jagger is set to undergo heart surgery this week, it has been reported.
The Rolling Stones were due to take their No Filter tour to North American this week, but the dates have been postponed after doctors discovered something irregular.
With the dates pushed back by a month, Mick Jagger is now set to undergo surgery.
New York Post's Page Six column indicates that the frontman has a faulty valve in his heart, and as a precaution a stent will be fitted.
The surgery sounds complex but is seemingly relatively minor - he is expected to be back at work within weeks.
There's been no official statement from the group on the nature of the surgery, but Keith Richards has been using his time wisely.
