Michael Leonhart and JSWISS have re-worked their collaborative cut ‘The Chase’.
The two parties went back-to-back on their debut album ‘Bona Fide’, melding together funky, future-facing production with some dextrous rhymes. A natural partnership, the record found word of mouth hype, propelled by its inherent artistry.
It seems the duo have found time to go back into the studio, linking with some special guests to re-work a fan favourite. ‘The Chase’ is built anew, with the Strings Attached version boasting an all-star Brooklyn-based string quartet.
Opening the song out, additional scratching comes from DJ logic, while Keyon Harrold is on trumpet. Jazz meets hip-hop in a classical arena, ‘The Chase’ is given a boost of fresh energy.
