Threatened with bankruptcy and with his health reportedly failing him King of Pop Michael Jackson is set to auction over 2000 of his personal possessions.
Michael Jackson has fallen a long way. With the doors on his Neverland ranch still locked shut, the singer is battling a court case with a Middle Eastern Prince as well as an alleged bout of MRSA.
The former King Of Pop is in dire straits. Deep in debt Jackson has decided to sell some of his own property with over 2000 possessions to be sold at an auction held in the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
Jackson hopes that the auction will raise the millions he needs to fight off bankruptcy. The collection ranges from a 1999 limousine worth over £100,000 to smaller items such as salt and pepper shakers.
The collection is so vast the auction house has been forced to print a six volume book to print the details about the items.
Amongst the more iconic items on display are the diamond encrusted gloves Jackson wore in the ‘Thriller’ video as well as paintings of the man himself.
