Electro three-piece Metronomy are set to release their new single “Holiday” on July 7th, it has been announced.
The group stormed Glastonbury last weekend, playing the dance tent to a packed crowd of fans. The band are set to be busy on the live scene, with a gig planned for tonight (July 2nd). Metronomy have also announced a new competition, in which fans can win one of 100 holiday kits.
To enter, just send a funny holiday snap and you could win one of 100 holiday kits containing Metronomy sunglasses, a beach bagn badges and a very sexy beach vest. All entries should be posted in the group’s competition blogs on myspace and facebook.
Metronomy will release “Holiday” on July 7th. The band will play the following live dates:

July 4th – Zoo Thousand Festival, Kent
July 5th -Wild In The Country, Knebworth
July 6th – Wakestock, Abersoch, Wales
July 13th – T In The Park, Scotland
July 19th – Latitude, Suffolk
