Metronomy Plot New Single

With remixes from Jesse Rose, Duke Dumont, Azari and III

Metronomy are set to release their new single ‘Everything Goes My Way’ on October 17th.

Beginning as a somewhat difficult, left field solo project Metronomy have gradually become a full band. Joe Mount remains the central creative force, but live shows this summer have seen the songwriter pull back.

With a new line up accompanying him, the singer has been able to let Metronomy relax. Buoyed by the success of their new album ‘The English Riviera’ the band have played some fantastic shows.

Recently nominated for the Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize, the band have decided to peel off another single from ‘The English Riviera’. Due to be released on October 17th, the single is set to be available digitally and on 12 inch.

Pressed on wax, the 12 inch version of ‘Everything Goes My Way’ will contain remixes from Jesse Rose, Duke Dumont, Azari and III.

Performing at Reading and Leeds across the weekend, Metronomy will finish the festival season by travelling to Bestival. Taking a short break, the band will then open a full British tour with a show in Southampton.

Due to play Leeds on September 21st the dates continue with shows in Sheffield, Glasgow, Manchester and more.

The tour continues with shows in Liverpool, Birmingham and more before finishing in Bristol on September 28th. Following the completion of the tour, Metronomy will play a handful of one off dates including a show in Totnes (Joe Mount’s home town) and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
