Metallica Add London Date

Rock Gods To Play Extra O2 Gig

Rock gods and ‘Guitar Hero’ fans Metallica are set to play a second date at the O2 Arena in London, it has been announced.

The band recently released their new album ‘Death Magnetic’ to rapturous acclaim by both fans and critics. Hailed as a return to form, the album flew to the top of the charts in both Britain and America.

Metallica had previously announced a full UK tour – the group’s first in twelve years. Beginning next February, it will see the puny indie hordes of Britannia scurry before a rock colossus from the US of A.

The band have already announced one date at the O2 Arena, but will now return to finish off the tour on March 28th. Tickets for the tour go on sale on October 24th at 9am.

February 26th – Manchester, Evening News Arena
February 28th – Sheffield, Arena
March 2nd – London, O2 Arena
March 25th – Birmingham, LG Arena
March 26th – Glasgow, SECC
March 28th – London, O2 Arena
