Metallica have announced they will play seven shows in the UK next year in February, with tickets set to go on sale on Friday 24th October .
The band scored a number one recently with their twelfth album ‘The Death Magnetic’, which resulted in Scottish band Glasvegas being robbed of a number one album slot. The metal dons’ album proved its sheer strength however, by climbing to the top spot in 32 countries.
The band will return to celebrate their twenty-seven year, nine album career as one of the biggest selling metal bands of all time.
Metallica won’t be repeating the slashed ticket prices on offer when they last played in the UK (with fans paying £5 per ticket), and all shows will now be priced at £40 (London £45). Support for all the shows will come from Machine Head and The Sword.
