Mercury Rev To Release New LP

Rev-ing Up For A Return

US psychedelic oddballs Mercury Rev are set to return with their highly anticipated new album “Snowflake Midnight” on September 29th, it has been announced.

The new set of nine exploratory, psychedelic milestones recalls the best of the band’s output, from the avant garde lyricism of their debut “Yerself Is Steam” to the refined songwriting of 1998’s “Deserter’s Songs”.

As if one new album wasn’t enough to get fans excited, Mercury Rev have revealed plans to release a second, companion album – for free! The eleven track album will be available to anyone on the Mercury Rev mailing list, free to download from September 29th.

“Snowflake Midnight” will be available from September 29th through V2.

Mercury Rev will play the following UK festival dates this summer:

August 29th – Connect Festival, Inverary, Argyll, Scotland
September 13th – End Of The Road Festival, North Dorset, England
