Belgian group Meltheads have shared their new single ‘Night Gym’.
The band are cult heroes on the continent, with their frenzied yet absorbing sound sitting somewhere between the Gun Club and those early Birthday Party cuts, yet with a singular approach that is utterly their own.
New album ‘Decent Sex’ is complete, and it’s set to land on February 9th via Mayway Records. Out now, new single ‘Night Gym’ is a wild ride, the propulsive rhythm grabbing your attention from the off.
Heavily physical, it gallops along, rooted in place by the instantly-infectious chorus and Sietse Willems preacher-style vocal.
“I guess there are some places where love is for sale,” Sietse says. “I don’t like those places. ‘Night Gym’ is about a place like that in Prague.”
