Rising production force Megra has shared new track ‘I STAY’.
The club figure has caught a wave of hype in the past 12 months, with the likes of Four Tet and Fred again.. spinning his music in their sets. Opening body of work ‘1:M’ clearly displayed why, balancing physical force with a painterly touch.
Stepping into his next chapter, Megra has revealed plans for incoming project ‘2:M’, with lead single ‘I STAY’ on streaming now.
Out via Method 808, ‘I Stay’ is refined for club use, with Megra producing something that erupts with alacrity out of the speakers. Carefully toned, there’s a disorienting sense of colour that is at one startling and suggestive.

This past year has been breathtaking. I’ve put everything into the tracks I’ve released, and seeing them truly connect with people, especially hearing some of my favorite DJs play them out, has been incredibly powerful.
‘I Stay’ captures that same energy, the kind only an unforgettable night in London can inspire. It marks the first step into the deeper, anthemic world of my second mixtape, ‘2:M’.
