Meek Mill Accuses Atlantic Records Of “Out-Smarting Young Black Kids”

He's not happy with the label...

Meek Mill has called out his label Atlantic Records.

The rapper has released numerous projects through the major label imprint, but it seems that the relationship isn't a happy one.

Using Twitter to speak directly to fans, he said he was "blackballed" during the release of 2021 album 'Expensive Pain'.

He wrote: “So look I made Atlantic records 100’s of millions and let them rape me out out [sic] Roddy a artist they came to me about in jail. They still saying I can’t drop music until 9 months after my last album got blackballed.” Accusing Atlantic of disrupting his relationship with Roddy Ricch, Meek Mill said other artists were "scared to speak up".

The rapper said: "If I didn’t have millions I’d prolly do something crazy …. They out smarting young black kids taking advantage and calling it business! Other artist speak up and tell the truth while you winning not when you down!"

Atlantic Records have not commented on the claims.
