Matty will release new album ‘POPS’ on August 16th.
The Canadian artist is a superb musician, holding down a key role in BADBADNOTGOOD. His jazz-centric expression makes him a notable collaborator, working with everyone from James Blake and Camila Cabello through to Travis Scott and Rosalía.
Departing the group in 2019, Matty is now fully focussed on the individuality of his songwriting. In coming on Lex Records, new album ‘POPS’ is a full 360 presentation of Matty’s solo vision. Out on August 16th, it’s led by the plaintive, soulful aspects that frame new song ‘FOOL 4 U’.
