The Matthew Herbert Big Band will play the Royal Festival Hall, London, on 21st November, it has been announced.
The show from the avant-garde microhouse master will also see a performance from Eska, who will join Herbert on the night.
Herbert, a mysterious figurehead in electronic music, also released a new album yesterday (28th October) on his own record label Accidental Records. However, inspired by his second album ‘There’s me, and there’s you’, Herbert will take to the stage as part of a re-run for the London Jazz Festival, joined by his big band and performance artist Eska Mtungwazi, who Herbert describes as ‘the beating heart’ of the performance.
