Matt Maltese has shared his new song 'Curl Up & Die' – tune in now.
The South London maverick has spent the bulk of the past 12 months on the road, but his return prompted a spell of self-examination.
Returning to his bedroom studio in Elephant & Castle, he spent time “stewing in the past” before focussing on something fresh.
Deciding to produce his own material, he's now working towards a fresh project, but is ready to share something new.
Out now, 'Curl Up & Die' is a stark but engaging return, with Matt crediting his new-found ability to do “really simple things like trusting your gut when something sounds good but looks bad”.
A potent return, he sings: “I worshipped the ground you walked on / I’d cut off my ear for you / I worshipped the towel you dried on / I’d kill all my friends for you.”
Tune in now.
