ClashMusic is preparing for an extremely unusual interview, with Matt & Kim answering your questions over Twitter!
Matt & Kim met while teaching, but there is little cerebral about their music. Designed to make people dance the band’s energetic synth pop will have you leaping around like a toddler on a fixed diet of Sunny D.
The band’s self titled debut album dropped in 2006, gaining them a cult audience in the process. Since then Matt & Kim have toured relentlessly, playing everywhere from outdoor shows to warehouse parties.
Earning a reputation as a sizzling live band Matt & Kim returned earlier this year with their new album ‘Grand’. Released via Fader the record scored well with fans and critics, who noted the band’s increasingly mature songwriting.
With a series of UK tour dates coming up ClashMusic decided to sit Matt & Kim down for an interview. However instead of the usual phoner routine we decided to let you lot do the talking.
Yep – we’re doing this thing via Twitter. We’ll ask the questions before Matt & Kim supply the answers, all within 140 characters of course.
