Matt Berry has shared new single ‘Wedding Photo Stranger’.
The English figure is a true polymath, combining his vastly successful career as a comedic actor with an in-depth songwriting catalogue.
New album ‘Heard Noises’ is out on January 24th though Acid Jazz Records, and it finds Matt Berry leaning towards the hazy sounds of West Coast psychedelia – but with an English twist, of course.
The album features a handful of special guests, including Kitty Liv (Kitty, Daisy & Lewis), Eric D. Johnson (The Shins/Fruit Bats), Pokerface actress Natasha Lyonne and Matt’s Mum’s Choir.
New song ‘Wedding Photo Stranger’ is blessed with Matt’s neat melodic finesse, and there’s a real sense of world-building at play in the studio work.
