Indie label Matador has had an amazing year bringing you releases by Fucked Up, Jay Reatard and many more, and music lovers can now download a new sampler for free, it has been announced.

The new sampler contains both previously released and rare material, giving a good grasp of the label’s tastes and ethics. Amongst the highlights of stunning year for the label were the releases of new albums by Fucked Up, Jay Reatard, Times New Viking and more. Matador also released Lou Reed’s ‘Berlin – Live’ album, a fascinating document from one of rock’s true outsider talents.

Among the treats on the sampler are exclusive tracks from AC Newman, Pavement, Shearwater and many more. Scots indie legends Belle & Sebastian include a rare BBC Session from their upcoming album, while Fucked Up contribute a track from their acclaimed album ‘The Chemistry Of Common Life’.
