Master Peace Hits Hard On ‘Country Life’

"I’m unapologetically myself and no one can take that away from me..."

Master Peace signals his return with ‘Country Life’.

A key figure in the UK underground, Master Peace does things his own way. Equally inspired by hardcore punk and grime mixtapes, he’s built his own lexicon, a raucous, unruly sound as inspired as it is raw.

Opening a fresh chapter, new single ‘Country Life’ is his latest mission statement and it finds the multi-talented visionary speaking his truth in a pure, undiluted fashion.

There’s real defiance of the norm in his work, alongside a palpable sense of risk. A track that lets off explosions at every turn, ‘Country Life’ is a three minute audio bulldozer.

“I’m saying what I’ve always felt but never had the balls to say”, he explains. “Now I can suddenly make peace knowing that I’m unapologetically myself and no one can take that away from me. The video is pretty self-explanatory in terms of me wanting to stay in Surrey and not come to London, and all the baggage that comes with it….”

Catch Master Peace live at London’s Camden Assembly on November 22nd.
