Master Peace returns with new single ‘LOO SONG’.
The genre-defying artist opened a fresh chapter earlier this year, teasing new material with a special Clash Live performance at Metropolis Studios. Heading back into the studio, he taps into that prime indie sleaze aesthetic on new single ‘LOO SONG’.
Out now, it’s a slice of cheeky deviance, with Master Peace aiming to tap into shared memories of illicit behaviour. Fuelled by the precocious energy of his live shows, it points to what fans can expect on his much-anticipated debut album.
‘LOO SONG’ is a self-described “cheeky, flirty and fun record” and comes equipped with some zesty visuals, filmed in Peckham by director Freddie Cattaneo.
Master Peace comments…
“‘LOO SONG’ is a cheeky, flirty and fun record. It centers around teenage mischief and exciting and intriguing nights. Nights like house parties and basement raves I went to as an adolescent as a teenager in Surrey, different situations unfolding in front of my eyes, euphoric highs. It’s influenced by early Calvin Harris and Justice – that era of indie sleaze – the loud fuzzy synths give off an ‘Acceptable in the 80s’ vibe.”
Tune in now.
