Former Libertine, and Babyshambles lynch-pin, Pete Doherty is planning a massive solo show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, it has been announced.
By far the biggest solo gig of his career, Doherty will play the venue entirely under his own steam – although a few special guests may well make an appearance.
Doherty has a history of playing solo gigs, from his early guerilla gigging days to more recent events. Last year a three night solo stint saw the Babyshambles frontman play alongside 60s folk legend Bert Jansch.
Pete Doherty will play the Royal Albert Hall in London on April 26th.
