Driven forwards by Martha’s creative tenacity, ‘Need’ conjures “the most feral parts of my being,” as she puts it.
Starring in the Billy Howard Price-directed video, Martha adopts several personas, one of which echoes the role of ‘a mole’. “A mole can be several things. A mole can be a liar or a trick, or a mole can simply be an animal that can’t see.”
