Martha Skye Murphy Announces Debut Album ‘Um’

It's out on June 14th...

Martha Skye Murphy has laid out plans for debut album ‘Um’.

A lauded musician and collaborator, Martha Skye Murphy has embarked on numerous projects, all while leaving the prospect of a debut album tantalisingly out of touch. Having worked on ideas for some time, it seems that her much-anticipated LP is now on the horizon, and will land this summer.

Out on June 14th via AD 93, the record was produced alongside Ethan P. Flynn, and boasts 11 tracks. Guests include Roy Montgomery and acclaimed Thrill Jockey artist Claire Rousay, alongside contributions from musician and producer Marta Salogni.

New single ‘Pick Yourself Up’ is out now, a cutting edge feast of fresh ideas. A potent example of her methodologies and world-building, it’s also simply an engrossing piece of songwriting, one she terms “an ode to mistrust, Fred & Ginger, and clear days…”

Tune in now.
