Marie Dahlstrom and Odeal combine on new single ‘Nothing On You’.
The Danish songwriter Marie Dahlstrom is returning to her 2023 album ‘A Good Life’, lining up an expanded Deluxe Edition. A smattering of remixes have been commissioned, alongside some special material designed to augment her initial message.
Out now, ‘Nothing On You’ combines her gorgeous R&B-drenched alt-pop flow with the voice of London star Odeal. A long-time Clash favourite, he expertly balances the song, his tender tones working perfectly alongside Marie Dahlstrom.
Lyrically, Odeal notes that the song epitomises “longing for a deeper connection with a significant other”.
Marie adds…
“This song was made in the very first session Odeal and I had together. It was such a natural and smooth process. Daniel’s production provided the perfect foundation and it felt really natural to develop the song. The song is a true love song – feels like a nice way to start the year.”
