Left-field R&B astute Marie Dahlstrom will release second album ‘A Good Life’ on May 22nd.
The songwriter’s debut album was released three years ago, a wonderful statement of icy soul. Since then Marie has pored over her methods, overhauling her artistry in the process.
New album ‘A Good Life’ is out on May 22nd, and it finds Marie Dahlstrom embracing other voices. She remains the central figure, the arch creator and nimble curator, joined by contributors such as Kofi Stone, Jay Prince, Conor Albert, Delleile Ankrah and Sipprell.
Released on her own JFH Records imprint, the project is led by the beautiful title cut, a frosted piece of future-soul that leans on her Millennial R&B roots.
