Norwegian alt-pop riser Margrete has shared new single ‘Pandora’.
Out now, the track appears on her upcoming EP, with ‘FLAWS Vol 2’ set to be released shortly. An inherent over-sharer, Margrete matches lyrical insight to a rebellious way with melody, eschewing rules in the process.
New single ‘Pandora’ is about learning to open up, learning to express your feelings. Margrete has a habit of falling for the wrong person, and accepting trust in her life can prove to be an issue.
‘Pandora’ is an alt-pop steamroller, combining gossamer melodies with alt aspects in the production. Completely addictive, it finds Margrete standing on her own, refusing to follow others.

“Sometimes, I think all my heart wants is to break, over and over again, dragging me into situations where the stakes are high and the feelings aren’t mutual. This, combined with anxiety, makes confessing romantic feelings feel like opening Pandora’s box.”
