Margo Price, Sierra Ferrell Combine To Re-Work ‘Change Of Heart’

It's a deft acoustic arrangement...

Margo Price has shared a fresh take on ‘Change Of Heart’.

The songwriter returned with a bold album recently, and Clash went deep with Margo Price on the circumstances surrounding her latest creative evolution. Stripped from the record, her single ‘Change Of Heart’ became a huge success, topping the Americana charts for weeks at a time.

A punchy moment in her live sets, the song gains a stripped back acoustic rendering alongside another excellent female talent. Sierra Ferrell assists, and their vocals intertwine to locate the plaintive core of the song.

An example of Margo Price lifting up those around her, it’s also simply a graceful performance from two great vocalists.

Margo Price says: “I’m real excited to share this stripped down take on ‘Change of Heart’ featuring Sierra Ferrell. Sierra is one of my favorite new voices in music and I loved getting to work with her on this acoustic version of the song.”

She continues: “I love to lift up other women in the genre when I see somebody putting out great art. In an industry that tries to drive us apart, it’s freeing to break down those barriers and say, “there is room for everyone.”
