Male Bonding Single Due

Dirty Projectors slot confirmed

Male Bonding are preparing to see out the year with a new double A-side single.

Emerging from Dalston, Male Bonding represent a new DIY mood amongst London’s guitar scene. With major labels shunning anyone with six strings, bands have adopted a backs to the wall pose.

Signed to Sub Pop, Male Bonding released their critically acclaimed debut album earlier this year. A stunning release, it blended buzz saw guitars with sighing melodies which hinted at a mis-spent youth listening to SST Records.

The band maintain their own label as well. A quick visit to the merch stall on tour will find all manner of releases, including live only cassettes and a compilation of their favourite new groups.

Male Bonding have decided to see out the year with a new double A-side single. ‘Nothing Remains’ is taken from their debut album, and will be coupled with new material.

Released via Paradise Vendors Inc. the new single includes B-side ‘Nightmare Version’ which was left off their debut album. Elsewhere, Algodón Egipcio contributes a version of ‘Weird Feelings’.

Due out on November 29th, Male Bonding have also announced a Christmas gift for indie fans – a new line of scarves! Yes, that’s right now you have something to go along with your brogues and Barbour on those cold winter evenings.

The band have also confirmed a special one off show on December 7th. Dirty Projectors have recruited the London trio as the main support for their Koko show, one of the only British appearances they will be making this year.

Male Bonding will play the following show:

November
29 London Koko
