Bristol outfit Make Friends have shared new single 'Hesitate'.
A feverish local secret, the band's woozy indie songwriting has a touch of those late summer sunsets.
Breezy and super-relaxing, new single 'Hesitate' matches crisp melodies to that neat, driving groove.
It's an impish, tasteful return, one bedecked in billowing textures, and a neat, nagging chorus.
The full video takes Make Friends out into the hills surrounding Bristol, and it taps into that neat late summer vibe.
A video about unity and friendship, the lyrics for 'Hesitate' were actually born from darker circumstances.
David Thomas comments...
"'Hesitate' is about dealing with the weight and responsibility of having a friend that is suffering from addiction. The song portrays an internal struggle where you want to be there for them, but at the same time you don’t know the right words to say or actions to take, and you’re worried you might fail them."
