And the sun has come out!

So that was the first day at Lovebox.

Gates swung open under an uneasy East London sky, seemingly incapable of making up its mind. The rain – largely – held off, though, with early crowds greeted to raucous sets from the likes of grime don and KISS personality Rudekid.

The opening day entirely built towards Major Lazer, however. Diplo & Co. have a piece of their heart in East London, and it showed right from the start.

Sure, the purists may never be charmed by their loud, bass-slash-arena beats, but it sure is effective. Opening with a long, drawn out 'Pon De Floor' the crew simply smashed it: a no-holds-barred performance that truly raised the roof.

Clash x SoundCrash are hosting a very special arena today, featuring performances from Jack Garratt, Jamie Woon, Jorja Smith and more... stay tuned for the latest developments!
